Breakfast briefing: Celebrating female dealmakers

Aida Topcagic
Executive Director,
JP Morgan

At Exile, we proudly champion women and other under-represented communities in export and project finance. Our goal is to create an environment where more women are originating business and taking on visible roles in the industry. Join our breakfast workshop to network with peers, considering:

- What are the women in our industry working on at the moment, and how can we create connections that lead to origination?

- Are there particular sectors that have better female representation, and how can we encourage this across the board?

- How do we ensure that women are taking on visible roles and being considered for promotions?

Coriolis Technologies Limited

Step into a NATO HQ war room in this simulated scenario, placing you in the near future to examine a fictional geopolitical crisis based on real-life events. Played out in a game-type format, this session aims to help you understand NATO and political leaders’ approaches to shifts in national security strategies, sanctions, and export controls.
Your goals are twofold:

1. Make the correct decisions to retain the primacy of NATO over potential adversaries.

2. Limit the risks of unforeseen consequences or escalations resulting from your decisions, such as military conflict or environmental degradation. In an era of increasing geopolitical tensions, this is a must-attend session for anyone wanting to respond flexibly to ever-evolving security threats and their impact on trade finance.

We invite bankers, ECAs, private insurers, and corporate product users from across the export credit ecosystem to share their perspectives on the effectiveness of ECA products offered across the DACH region. We inquire whether the product is fit for purpose when generating new business in emerging industries and regions. How can we overcome issues related to sourcing and content to push more projects over the line? Are we, as a region, doing enough to meet our ESG and energy transition targets? Additionally, can the three ECAs do more to collaborate and promote business interests with their DACH neighbours?
